毎年6月23日、24日は愛宕神社の千日詣り。元祖という、ほおずき市も開催されるため、午後からお詣りに行ってほおずきを買い求めてきました。
The festival of 1,000 days (Sen-nichi Mairi) is held on the 23rd and 24th of June each year. It is believed that those worshipping on this day will receive benefits for 1,000 days. This is also called the Hozuki-ichi as Chinese lantern plants (hozuki) are sold on those days. This Hozuki-ichi is thought to be the original, rather than the fair in Asakusa.
